Janire – Ray of Sun Adventures

Hi, I’m Janire — Mountain Leader, adventure lover, solo mum, and founder of Ray of Sun Adventures. I discovered hiking during the pandemic and ended up climbing every hill in Shropshire… then kept going! The outdoors became my therapy, my classroom, and eventually, my career.

Now, I lead inclusive group hikes across the UK and Europe, helping others find confidence, connection, and joy on the trail. Whether it’s a scenic stomp in Wales or a mountain adventure in the Alps, I create welcoming spaces where everyone feels like they belong — especially women who want to roam wild and feel empowered in nature.

I believe adventure should be accessible, fun, and full of belly laughs (and snacks). Fancy joining me for a hike?
