Hosted by Leah aka @offtheclocknurse – this adventure blends authentic culture, shared connection, and a touch of indulgence. Together, you’ll dive into the heart of Portugal, cooking regional dishes with locals, exploring medieval towns, and sailing the Douro River beneath Porto’s glittering skyline.
Whether it’s tasting pastel de nata fresh from the oven, wandering storybook Sintra, or raising a glass in the valley where port wine was born, every day brings a new reason to fall in love with Portugal. Come ready for laughter, discovery, and a journey that lingers long after you’ve returned home.

Leah Helmbrecht @offtheclocknurse
Hi, my name is Leah, also known as @offtheclocknurse. My passion for travel began when I started working as a Travel Operating Room Nurse, moving to different states throughout the US every 13 weeks. I was allotted the time off and finances to take a month off in between contracts to solo explore different countries. Currently, I am working permanently in Colorado, USA, as a Forensic Nurse Examiner. My hope for hosting trips is to encourage others to break out of their comfort zone, embrace adventure, and learn about different cultures. Won’t you join me?
