Hi, I’m Nikki! For as long as I can remember I’ve had a camera in my hand documenting and creating with the world around me, and man has it taken me on a journey. From leaving my small midwest town to go to study photography in a big city to moving to NYC then Austria and back, I’ve lived 1000 lives all leading me to combining my passions into one big dream life; to travel the world with a camera in hand and share that experience with people to inspire them to live their dreams.
I am into just about any kind of traveling and adventure from cruises and luxury stays to the more frequent budget hostels, backpacking adventures, and road trips sleeping in a vehicle. However, what I have learned along the way is that none of those adventures mean anything without the people I meet along the way. Whether I am traveling with someone from the start of a trip or meeting them along the way, the power of human connection has inspired me to continue to see corners of the world I haven’t yet seen. Itinerary
Day 1 Welcome to Bali
Selamat datang! Upon arrival at Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS), make your way to Ubud, the lush cultural heart of Bali. Settle into your serene jungle-side accommodation and enjoy some time to unwind. In the evening, join your fellow travellers, hosts Nikki & Maddie, and your local guide for a welcome dinner at a cozy Balinese restaurant—your first taste of island hospitality.

Day 2 Ubud’s Natural Wonders
Start your day with a tropical breakfast before heading out to explore Ubud’s lush countryside. Begin with a stroll through the emerald-green Tegalalang Rice Terraces – one of Bali’s most iconic landscapes. Then cool off with a dip beneath the refreshing waters of Goa Raja Waterfall. Return to town in the afternoon to relax or explore Ubud’s many boutique shops and cafés.
You’ll want an early night tonight as you’ll be up very early tomorrow for a stunning sunrise hike!

Day 3 Mount Batur Sunrise Adventure
Today kicks off early with a sunrise trek up Mount Batur. Witness the island awaken from the summit, with panoramic views stretching across the surrounding caldera. After your descent, soak your legs in a nearby natural hot spring. Back in Ubud, enjoy a free afternoon to rest, get a massage, or sip coffee in a jungle-view café.

🔔 Special Note: This trek involves a moderate challenge over volcanic terrain. Bring warm layers and sturdy footwear – a headtorch will be provided. Weather conditions may affect climb availability. You’ll likely be leaving the hotel at approximately 3am, exact time TBC.
