I’m Vaughn Colquitt, aka MsVaughnTV, and I’m a Chicago-based content creator, wife and full-time mommy to two little girls (a 2-year old and a 9-year old with non-verbal autism). Day 1 Arrive in Rome
Welcome to the Eternal City! Upon arrival, make your way to the joining hotel and settle in after your journey. This evening, meet your host and fellow travellers for a Welcome Dinner to toast the start of your Italian adventure and get to know your travel companions.

Day 2 Rome Walking Tour & Colosseum
Spend the day uncovering the timeless beauty of Rome, where ancient history and modern life blend effortlessly. Begin with a half-day walking tour through cobbled streets and lively piazzas as your guide shares stories of emperors, artists, and everyday Romans. See iconic landmarks like the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and the Pantheon, with time for a quick espresso or creamy gelato along the way.
In the afternoon, step back over two thousand years with a guided visit to the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill. Wander the mighty amphitheatre that once hosted gladiator battles, explore the ruins of temples and triumphal arches, and admire sweeping views across the Eternal City – a day steeped in history, culture, and unmistakable Roman charm.

Day 3 Florence Walking Tour, Il Duomo & Ponte Vecchio
After breakfast, take a morning train to La Bella Firenze, the heart of the Renaissance. Discover the city’s treasures on a guided walking tour through elegant piazzas and vibrant streets lined with centuries-old palaces. Visit the magnificent Il Duomo, crowned by Brunelleschi’s stunning dome, and admire its intricate marble façade and frescoed interior.
Continue to the Ponte Vecchio, Florence’s oldest bridge, famous for its glittering jewelry shops and beautiful views across the Arno River. With its unmatched blend of art, architecture, and atmosphere, Florence is truly an open-air museum. Spend the rest of the day exploring at your own pace.

ARRIVAL:
You will need to make sure your travel plans allow you to arrive at the meeting point by the scheduled guest meeting time. More information on this will be provided once the trip is confirmed. Your arrival airport is Leonardo da Vinci International Airport Rome (FCO).
DEPARTURE:
On the final day, you are free to depart at any time. Your departure airport is Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE).
