Rowan Poortier

I’m Rowan Poortier a South African born safari guide, wildlife photographer and content creator. Growing up on a farm in the middle of nowhere in South Africa I’ve always been connected to the Wild, which led me to spend eight years guiding Safari before shifting into wildlife content creation and hosting unforgettable trips.

With a deep understanding of animal behaviour and spending hours in the bush on foot or in a vehicle across Southern Africa I bring unique insights into my photography, capturing Wildlife in a way that tells a story. I love sharing these experiences whether it’s through my lens or in person guiding people on incredible safaris.

Beyond the bush, I am passionate about travelling the world, meeting you people and exploring new places, always seeking the next adventure.
