Hi, I’m Elise – just your average Aussie girl obsessed with travel. Travelling is what makes me feel most alive, and life now revolves around my next adventure or holiday destination.
I yearn for those long car road trips to new places, ticking waterfalls off my bucket list, hiking across mountain ranges, walking in lush rainforests and ending the day with a killer sunset, a yummy meal and a glass of wine.
Now, I’m thrilled to be able to take YOU along with me to explore some of my favourite places and of course, share a whole lot of hidden gems too. Not only that – both me and my partner Isaac will be on hand to give you tips on how capture amazing photos and videos as well. Let’s go!

Itinerary
Day 1 Welcome to Bali!
Welcome to beautiful Bali! Our adventure kicks off in the cultural heart of the island – Ubud – where terraced rice fields, sacred temples, waterfalls, and jungle-lined roads create a lush, unforgettable landscape.
We’ll meet at our accommodation, Dedeane Ubud, a peaceful retreat tucked among tropical greenery. With serene gardens, a tranquil pool, and thoughtfully designed rooms, it’s the perfect place to unwind and settle into island life.
As evening falls, we’ll come together for a welcome dinner at Dedeane, where the air is filled with the aroma of sizzling satay and fragrant Balinese spices. Great food, new friends, and a toast to the week ahead – the adventure starts here!

Day 2 Ubud Jungle Wonders & Waterfall Bliss
Start your day with a tropical breakfast before heading to the Sacred Monkey Forest, where playful macaques roam freely among ancient temple ruins and moss-covered statues.
Continue to Manuaba Waterfall, a peaceful jungle hideaway perfect for a refreshing swim or a moment to take in the lush surroundings.
Next, visit the iconic Tegalalang Rice Terrace, where emerald-green fields cascade down the hillside. Stroll along the narrow paths or try one of the famous jungle swings for a thrilling view.
End the day at Taman Sari Waterfall & Natural Pool, a serene spot to cool off and relax before returning to the hotel for a free evening in Ubud.

Day 3 Mt Batur Sunrise Trek
Today’s adventure kicks off very early as we set off for Mt. Batur, flashlights in hand, ready to conquer this legendary volcano caldera. The 2.5-hour trek winds up through rugged terrain, and we’ll reach the summit in time to enjoy a stunning tropical sunrise and a breathtaking view that makes every step worth it.
At the top, we refuel with a well-earned breakfast overlooking the volcanic crater. Then, it’s time to trek back down, before heading to the Batur Hot Springs, where steamy thermal pools and epic lake views soothe every tired muscle. After soaking up the relaxation, we return to the hotel – and the rest of the day is yours to unwind, explore, or nap like a champion.

- This morning’s wake-up call will be approximately 3am, so get an early night the night before. The excat time will be confirmed by your local tour guide at the trip briefing on day 1. The hike is mildly challenging, and you will start in the dark – headtorches are provided.

ARRIVAL:
You will need to make sure your travel plans allow you to arrive at our Ubud accommodation by mid-afternoon on day 1. You may wish to arrive a day early, especially if you are finding that flights have a late arrival time. If you are arriving late on the day before the trip starts, we recommend finding a hotel in an area closer to the airport (like Sanur) rather than going all the way to Ubud. Your arrival airport is I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, also known as Denpasar International Airport (DPS).
DEPARTURE:
