Join host Shelby aka Adventurous Peace Yoga for an exploration and restoration journey on a 7-day yoga retreat in stunning Bali. This retreat offers a perfect blend of yoga practices, cultural immersions, sightseeing excursions, and ample free time to unwind and explore. Whether you’re new to both yoga and solo travel, or a seasoned enthusiast, this retreat caters to all levels and promises to address any questions or concerns you may have.

Our home for the retreat is the Bingin Retreat, a breathtaking eco-inspired luxury estate nestled amidst the hills, clifftops, and white sand beaches of Bukit Peninsula in southern Bali. This remarkable 12-bedroom eco lodge is a short distance from Bingin Beach, renowned for its surf breaks. The estate features traditional Javanese Joglo houses constructed from recycled teak wood, offering a unique blend of luxury and sustainability. The expansive garden boasts a dedicated yoga bale and a stunning flower-shaped swimming pool, providing a serene and rejuvenating environment.

Villa Yoga Bingin was meticulously designed to accommodate group getaways such as family gatherings, yoga and wellness retreats, weddings, and other special events. With the capacity to host up to 24 guests comfortably, this villa offers an ideal setting for meaningful gatherings amidst the tranquil and authentic surroundings of Bali’s up-and-coming Bukit Peninsula. Hey there! I’m Shelby, and I’m a yoga teacher and solo traveler! I’m based in Iowa, USA, but I quickly feel at home no matter where I go! I’m passionate about seeing new places, experiencing new cultures, and empowering people to feel at home in their bodies and around the world. I am so excited to explore and restore around the world together!


Day 1 Welcome to Paradise!

Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be warmly greeted and transferred to the Villa Yoga Bingin Eco-Retreat, your tranquil haven for the next seven days. Settle into your comfortable accommodation and take in the serene surroundings. In the evening, join Shelby for a rejuvenating yoga practice to unwind and stretch after your journey. Following the practice, enjoy a delicious dinner prepared with fresh local ingredients, setting the tone for a nourishing and restorative retreat.

Day 2 Morning Yoga and Uluwatu Temple Excursion

Start your day with an invigorating yoga session led by Shelby, embracing the stunning views and peaceful atmosphere of the retreat. After breakfast, engage in a morning workshop at a local yoga studio focused on enhancing your yoga practice or wellness journey. The afternoon brings an excursion to the majestic Uluwatu Temple, perched atop a dramatic cliff. Witness the captivating Kecak Fire Dance performance against the backdrop of the setting sun, immersing yourself in Bali’s rich cultural heritage.

Day 3 Private Sessions Relaxation/Exploring, Canang Sari Class

Begin the day with another uplifting yoga practice followed by a nourishing breakfast. Take advantage of private sessions tailored to your individual needs, whether for yoga guidance or wellness consultations. Enjoy free time to explore the surroundings or indulge in rejuvenating spa treatments.

In the afternoon, participate in a traditional Balinese Canang Sari class, where you will learn to create traditional offerings using coconut leaves, flowers, and other natural materials. Gain insights into Balinese Hindu rituals and beliefs as you weave coconut leaves to form the base and arrange colorful flowers and rice in intricate patterns. Conclude the day with another soothing yoga session before dinner.

Day 4 Full Day Excursion to Ubud

After a morning yoga session, embark on a full-day excursion to Ubud, Bali’s cultural heart. Explore the iconic rice terraces of Tegalalang and discover hidden waterfalls nestled amidst lush greenery. Visit a local coffee plantation to learn about the production of Bali’s famous coffee and tea. Immerse yourself in Ubud’s vibrant arts scene and explore local markets before returning to the retreat in the evening.

Day 5 Private Sessions and Evening Yoga

Awaken your body and mind with a morning yoga practice followed by a wholesome breakfast. Utilize the day for private sessions, relaxation, or personalized activities. Indulge in spa treatments or venture out to discover nearby attractions. In the afternoon, engage in a workshop focused on holistic wellness or self-care practices. Conclude the day with a calming yoga session to center yourself before dinner.

Day 6 Morning Workshop and Sunday's Beach Club Visit

Start the day with a rejuvenating yoga session and a nourishing breakfast. Participate in a morning workshop to deepen your yoga practice or explore new techniques. Later, unwind at the famous Sunday’s Beach Club, where you can relax on pristine sands, swim in turquoise waters, and enjoy some drinks and delicious food a a tranquil beachfront setting. Return to the retreat for an evening of reflection and relaxation.

Day 7 Morning Yoga & Fond Farewell

Conclude your retreat with a final morning yoga practice led by Shelby, embracing the serenity and mindfulness you’ve cultivated throughout the week. After breakfast, bid farewell to your fellow retreat participants and transfer to the airport for your departure. Depart Bali feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and inspired by the transformative experiences of your yoga retreat in this beautiful island paradise.
