Take a serene walk through Yoyogi Park and visit the historic Meiji Shrine, hoping to catch a glimpse of a traditional Japanese wedding. Your adventure continues as you travel from Tokyo to the historic city of Kyoto. Day 1 Welcome to Tokyo!

Welcome to Tokyo! Take your time to settle in to our accommodation at APA Hotel Roppongi Six. This evening, embark on a culinary adventure with a stroll around Meguro, where Tokyo’s vibrant street food scene awaits. Sample local delicacies and soak in the lively atmosphere of the city as you begin your Japanese journey.

Day 2 Exploring Tokyo

Today is all about experiencing the eclectic and dynamic heart of Tokyo. Start with an early visit to the Tsukiji Fish Market, a haven for seafood lovers. Afterward, head to Harajuku, the epicenter of youth culture and fashion, where you’ll stroll down Takeshita Dori. Next, immerse yourself in the tranquility of Yoyogi Park and the historic Meiji Shrine (where you may be lucky enough to spot a traditional Japanese wedding). In the evening, dive into the neon-lit world of Akihabara Electric Town, famous for its anime and gaming culture.

Day 3 Tokyo to Kyoto

Begin your day with a visit to Asakusa Temple, a historical and cultural landmark in Tokyo. We’ll then head to the station for our train journey to Kyoto, with plenty of scenic views along the way. Upon arrival, explore Kyoto Station’s architectural wonders before checking into Hotel Gran Ms Kyoto. In the evening, dive into the local culture at Nishiki Market, renowned for its street food and shopping.

Day 4 Exploring Kyoto

Day 6 Kyoto to Osaka

Later, enhance your culinary skills with a hands-on sushi-making class, learning to master one of Japan’s most famous dishes. In the evening, dive into the lively Namba district, the heart of Osaka’s nightlife.

Day 7 Exploring Osaka

There’s also an option to visit the world-renowned Osaka Aquarium. Conclude your day with a return to Dotonbori, where you can sample Osaka’s famed street food and enjoy the vibrant nightlife.

Day 8 Osaka to Hiroshima

Today we’ll travel by bullet train to Hiroshima, a city rich in history and resilience. After checking into the Hotel Park Side Hiroshima Peace Park, visit the Peace Memorial and Peace Dome, powerful symbols of peace and recovery. Spend some time at the museum and then indulge in Hiroshima’s famous street food, Okonomiyaki, for dinner.

Day 9 Miyajima Island

Make sure your travel plans allow you to arrive in Tokyo and get to our accommodation by 3pm on the first day of the trip so that you don’t miss our evening activity.

TRIP CONFIRMATION:
