Get ready to flow, move, and soak up the magic of Morocco with your host Phoenix Kazree, a former gymnast and globe-trotting coach trained in classical, contemporary and ethnic dance who now travels the world teaching all things pole, dance and flexibility. This is a trip built for movers, dreamers, and travellers who want their holiday to leave them stronger, more connected, and a little more inspired than when they arrived.

From the Atlantic-facing grandeur of Casablanca to the spice-scented chaos of Marrakech’s Medina, and finally out to the open silence of the Agafay Desert, this seven-day adventure pairs Morocco’s most iconic landmarks with two pole fitness sessions and a dedicated flexibility class led by Phoenix herself. Picture training in a modern Casablanca studio in the morning and exploring the colour-soaked Majorelle Garden by afternoon.

This one is for the dancers and the curious travellers who like their itineraries to feed both body and soul. Expect strong sisterhood, late-night conversations under desert stars, and the kind of memories that stay in your bones long after you’ve flown home.

Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Casablanca

Welcome to Morocco. Touch down in Casablanca, make your own way to the joining hotel, and settle into the rhythm of a city where French colonial elegance meets buzzing Atlantic energy. Take a moment to shake off the long-haul fog, freshen up, and breathe in your first taste of North Africa.

This evening, gather with Phoenix, your tour leader, and the rest of your travel crew for a welcome dinner soaked in the flavours of Morocco. Think slow-cooked tagines, fragrant spices, and warm bread shared around the table as you trade introductions and dream a little about the week ahead.

Day 2 Coastal Landmarks and Movement

Begin your first full day with a visit to the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, a soaring feat of engineering and artistry perched right on the edge of the Atlantic. Crane your neck at the towering minaret, marvel at the intricate zellige tilework, and feel the salt spray as waves crash beneath the mosque’s seaward terrace.

In the afternoon, swap sightseeing for studio time. Step into your first pole fitness class with Phoenix in a modern Casablanca studio, designed to build strength, confidence, and that signature feeling of flying that pole always delivers. Whether you’re a seasoned spinner or a first-timer, expect a session that meets you exactly where you are.

Day 3 Wellness and Exploration

Start the day on the pole again with your second studio session, this time digging deeper into technique, lines, and the movement quality Phoenix has spent a lifetime refining as a dancer and coach. You’ll leave the class buzzing and noticeably stronger than you were 24 hours ago.

The rest of the day is yours to play with. Stroll the palm-lined Corniche, hunt down a beachfront coffee, or wander through Casablanca’s striking French colonial streetscapes. It’s the perfect window to choose your own adventure before the pace lifts again tomorrow.

Day 4 Into the Red City

Wave goodbye to the Atlantic coast and travel inland to Marrakech, the dusty pink heartbeat of Morocco. The shift in energy is immediate: warmer light, louder streets, and the sense that something thrilling is always happening just around the next corner.

Dive straight into the historic Medina on a guided walking tour, beginning with the jaw-dropping Bahia Palace and its kaleidoscope of painted ceilings and carved cedar. Continue to the Ben Youssef Madrasa, a former Quranic school where the geometry alone is worth the trip, before losing yourself in the bustling souks, watching artisans hammer, weave, and dye in the same alleyways their grandparents worked.

Day 5 Gardens and Serenity

Open the day on the mat with a flexibility class led by Phoenix, drawing on her background in classical, contemporary and ethnic dance to help you lengthen, open, and centre before the city pulls you back in. It’s the kind of slow, deliberate practice that pairs beautifully with a Marrakech morning.

Once you’re feeling spacious and stretched, step into the cobalt-blue dreamworld of the Majorelle Garden, all bamboo groves, cactus collections, and that unmistakable shade of blue. Next door, the Yves Saint Laurent Museum traces how Morocco shaped one of the twentieth century’s most iconic designers, a perfect intersection of high fashion and local craft.

Day 6 The Agafay Desert

Leave the kaleidoscope of Marrakech behind and roll out into the raw, rock-strewn beauty of the Agafay Desert. The landscape opens up fast: stony hills, sweeping horizons, and a stillness that feels almost cinematic after the buzz of the Medina.

Strap in for an adrenaline-charged quad bike ride across the dunes, then trade horsepower for hooves with a camel ride as the sun softens into gold. As evening falls, settle into your desert camp for a feast under a roof of stars, with conversation, candlelight, and the kind of sky you don’t get back home.

Day 7 Farewell Morocco

After breakfast, a group transfer will whisk you back across the country to Casablanca, delivering you to the airport in time for your onward flight. Earliest departure time will be advised closer to travel, so you can book with confidence.
