Important Notes
ARRIVAL INFORMATION
It’s best to arrive in Bangkok on the designated start date, or at least a few days earlier. There are no planned activities on the first day, so you have the flexibility to arrive at any time. If you happen to arrive early and are staying at our accommodation, we’ll arrange for airport pickup. We also recommend arranging your onward travel out of Thailand before your trip, as you may be asked to provide proof of onward travel when boarding your flight to Thailand.
AFTER THE TRIP
Your trip wraps up in Koh Tao, in southern Thailand, with several options to return to Bangkok. The fastest route is a 2-hour ferry to Koh Samui, followed by a 1-hour flight to Bangkok. We’ll arrange the ferry, but it’s wise to pre-book your flight. Another popular option is a 4-hour ferry to Surat Thani, then a 1-hour flight. If you have extra time, consider the overnight train back to Bangkok. Your group leader will assist with all travel plans. Remember, it’s not advised to fly within 24 hours of your last dive, so schedule your final dives accordingly.
VISAS
Most nationalities, including those from the UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the US, Scandinavia, and Brazil, typically receive a 30-day visa exemption upon arrival in Thailand at no cost. If you require a longer stay or are not eligible for this exemption, you can apply for a tourist visa at your nearest Thai consulate before traveling to Thailand.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance is compulsory, and you will be asked to provide proof of your cover before your trip begins.
