Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Lisbon

Arrive at Lisbon Airport and make your own way to the hotel. A tour representative will be available to assist with check-in and answer any questions about the days ahead. The afternoon is free to relax or begin exploring the Portuguese capital at your own pace. You might wander through Rossio, the lively main square, or take a short stroll to Praça do Comércio, Lisbon’s most iconic riverside square framed by grand arcades and golden light.

This evening, meet your fellow travellers for a Welcome Dinner, where you’ll enjoy your first taste of Portuguese cuisine and get to know the group.

Day 2 Alfama Walking Tour of Lisbon

Step back in time as you explore Alfama, Lisbon’s oldest neighbourhood and a living museum of the city’s layered past. On this guided walking tour, you’ll trace the area’s history from Phoenician traders and Moorish settlers to the working-class traditions that still thrive here today.

As you wind through steep lanes and cobblestone streets, you’ll visit São Jorge Castle, the imposing Lisbon Cathedral, and the scenic Miradouro das Portas do Sol for panoramic views over the Tagus River. The mix of medieval architecture, colourful houses, and soulful atmosphere makes Alfama unforgettable.

Day 3 Fairytale Sintra & Coastal Cascais

Continue to Cabo da Roca, the dramatic cliffs marking the westernmost point of mainland Europe, where the Atlantic stretches endlessly before you.

Day 4 The Ancient City of Évora

Day 6 Journey to Porto via Fátima
