Day 1 London to Bath via Avebury & Neolithic Mysteries
Your adventure begins as we depart London and travel west into the ancient ritual heartland of Wiltshire. As the city fades behind us, your hosts introduce the themes of sacred landscapes, prehistoric engineering and Britain’s enduring mythic imagination.

We begin at Avebury Stone Circle, the largest stone circle in the world, where you can walk freely among the towering sarsen stones. A guided countryside walk then leads to West Kennet Long Barrow, one of Britain’s most impressive Neolithic chambered tombs. In the afternoon we explore Silbury Hill, Europe’s largest prehistoric mound, before arriving in Bath for a themed welcome dinner with a guest historian exploring Druidic traditions.

Day 2 Glastonbury’s Sacred Sites
After breakfast we journey to the legendary town of Glastonbury, long associated with Avalon and King Arthur. The morning begins with a climb up Glastonbury Tor, where sweeping views across the Somerset Levels set the stage for stories of pilgrimage and myth.
We continue to Chalice Well, a tranquil garden sanctuary centred around a natural spring linked to Grail lore, before visiting the evocative ruins of Glastonbury Abbey. The afternoon is free to explore Glastonbury’s unique shops and cafés before returning to Bath for an evening at leisure.

Day 3 Bristol’s Ancient & Modern Marvels
Today we explore the wider region surrounding Bath. Our morning begins at the atmospheric Stanton Drew Stone Circles, a lesser known yet powerful prehistoric site where we discuss ritual gatherings and astronomical alignments.
In Bristol, we walk across the dramatic Clifton Suspension Bridge, designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel. Suspended above the Avon Gorge, it offers sweeping views and insight into Victorian engineering brilliance. We return to Bath in the late afternoon with the evening free to explore.
