Day 1 London to Bath via Avebury & Neolithic Mysteries

Your adventure begins as we depart London and travel west into the ancient ritual heartland of Wiltshire. As the city fades behind us, your hosts introduce the themes of sacred landscapes, prehistoric engineering and Britain’s enduring mythic imagination.

ℹ️ Meeting Point

We begin at Avebury Stone Circle, the largest stone circle in the world, where you can walk freely among the towering sarsen stones. A guided countryside walk then leads to West Kennet Long Barrow, one of Britain’s most impressive Neolithic chambered tombs. In the afternoon we explore Silbury Hill, Europe’s largest prehistoric mound, before arriving in Bath for a themed welcome dinner with a guest historian exploring Druidic traditions.

Day 2 Glastonbury’s Sacred Sites

After breakfast we journey to the legendary town of Glastonbury, long associated with Avalon and King Arthur. The morning begins with a climb up Glastonbury Tor, where sweeping views across the Somerset Levels set the stage for stories of pilgrimage and myth.

We continue to Chalice Well, a tranquil garden sanctuary centred around a natural spring linked to Grail lore, before visiting the evocative ruins of Glastonbury Abbey. The afternoon is free to explore Glastonbury’s unique shops and cafés before returning to Bath for an evening at leisure.

Day 3 Bristol’s Ancient & Modern Marvels

Today we explore the wider region surrounding Bath. Our morning begins at the atmospheric Stanton Drew Stone Circles, a lesser known yet powerful prehistoric site where we discuss ritual gatherings and astronomical alignments.

In Bristol, we walk across the dramatic Clifton Suspension Bridge, designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel. Suspended above the Avon Gorge, it offers sweeping views and insight into Victorian engineering brilliance. We return to Bath in the late afternoon with the evening free to explore.

Day 4 Stonehenge & Neolithic Wonders Group A

Group A departs early for exclusive Inner Circle access at Stonehenge. Standing within the stone circle itself is a rare and powerful experience, guided by a guest archaeologist who explores solstice alignments and ritual significance.

The visit continues at Woodhenge, part of the wider ceremonial landscape. After returning to Bath, the afternoon is free to relax or explore independently. Group B enjoys a full day at leisure in Bath.

Day 5 Stonehenge & Neolithic Wonders Group B

Today Group B experiences the exclusive Inner Circle access at Stonehenge, standing among the towering stones for an unforgettable encounter with Britain’s most iconic prehistoric monument.

The experience again includes Woodhenge before returning to Bath. Group A enjoys a free day to further explore Bath’s museums, boutiques and riverside walks.

Day 6 Bath’s Roman & Georgian Heritage

This morning we explore the remarkably preserved Roman Baths, focusing on the Temple of Sulis Minerva and the famous curse tablets that reveal personal stories from nearly 2,000 years ago.

We continue with the exterior of Bath Abbey and a visit to the Jane Austen Centre, bringing Regency life into focus. The evening is free, with an optional dinner at the historic Pump Room available.

Day 3 – London Wizarding World Walking Tour

This morning, join a guided walking tour through central London exploring filming locations and real life inspirations from the wizarding universe. Discover the alleyways said to inspire Diagon Alley, see the entrance associated with the Leaky Cauldron, and walk across the Millennium Bridge, dramatically featured in the films.

The afternoon is free to continue exploring London at your own pace, whether visiting museums, shopping in Covent Garden, or discovering historic pubs and hidden corners across the city.

Day 4 – London to Bath With Main Group

Enjoy an early breakfast before preparing to join the main Mystical Britain group. We are currently exploring arrangements for a private vehicle to collect extension guests directly from the Clayton Hotel Chiswick and transfer you to meet the group en route, avoiding the need to travel independently to Victoria Coach Station. Final details will be refined once the main trip is confirmed.

From here, your Mystical Britain adventure continues west toward Avebury Stone Circle and the ancient landscapes beyond.
