Itinerary
Day 1 Ljubljana Arrival and Welcome
Welcome to Slovenia, often called “Europe in Miniature” for its remarkable diversity of landscapes and culture. Your adventure begins this evening in Ljubljana, the country’s charming capital filled with cobbled streets, leafy riverbanks, and pastel-hued Baroque architecture.
At around 6:00 PM, meet your fellow travellers and trip leader for a welcome briefing. Together, set out on an orientation walk through the lively Old Town, where the aroma of coffee drifts from riverside cafés and the soft glow of lanterns reflects off the Ljubljanica River. End the evening with a welcome dinner at a traditional Slovenian restaurant, enjoying local specialties and getting to know your group.

Day 2 Bled and Vintgar Gorge Hike
This morning, travel by public bus to Bled, a fairytale destination famed for its emerald-green lake, tiny island church, and medieval cliff-top castle. The journey offers your first glimpses of Slovenia’s lush countryside and alpine scenery.
Upon arrival, set off on a scenic hike through Vintgar Gorge, a breathtaking natural wonder where wooden boardwalks hug the cliffs above turquoise rapids, crystal-clear pools, and cascading waterfalls. Pause to take in the fresh mountain air and dramatic landscapes before enjoying a picnic lunch surrounded by nature.

Day 3 Paddle Boarding on Lake Bled
Today begins with a refreshing adventure on the calm waters of Lake Bled. Stand-up paddleboarding offers a unique perspective of the lake, with panoramic views of the island church, Bled Castle perched high on the cliff, and the Julian Alps as your backdrop.
The afternoon is free to wander at your own pace – perhaps stroll around the lakeside promenade, sample a slice of the famous Bled cream cake, or explore nearby walking trails. As evening falls, enjoy a delicious group dinner in Bled.
