Join your host Samantha Casolaro on an immersive 11-day women-only journey through the very best of Southern Morocco, where ancient cultural heritage, dramatic desert landscapes, and laid-back coastal vibes come together in one unforgettable trip. Starting and ending in Marrakech, you’ll move from the buzz of the medina to the silence of the Sahara, then west to the Atlantic Coast for a slower, sun-soaked finish, all in the company of a like-minded group of women.
Trace the legendary Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, wander the mudbrick maze of Ait Benhaddou, and stand beneath the towering limestone walls of Todra Gorge. The journey peaks with a camel trek into the Sahara and a night under the stars at a remote dune camp, before swapping golden sands for the bright blue Atlantic and four nights at a surf camp in Taghazout.
This is Morocco for women who want the full picture: culture, adventure, big landscapes, and just enough downtime to actually soak it all in. From sunrise over the dunes to sunset surf sessions on the Atlantic, every day here earns its place on the map.

Samantha Casolaro
Hi, I’m Samantha! I’m a travel content creator (@travelingwithsamantha) and I’ve been traveling the world solo for the past 3 years across 33+ countries. As I learned how to navigate solo travel on a budget, I kept meeting girls who wanted to do the same but didn’t want to figure it all out alone, so I hosted one group trip, then another, and now over 320 women have joined me across 20 trips in 10 countries! Travel completely changed my life. It made me more confident, independent, and connected to myself and now I’m passionate about helping other women experience that too. I created this community to make solo travel feel less intimidating and more empowering, with support, connection, and built-in friends from day one. Whether you’re nervous about taking your first solo trip or already obsessed with travel and looking for like-minded girls to explore the world with, you’re in the right place🤍
Itinerary
Day 1 Welcome to Marrakech
Salaam Aleikum and welcome to Morocco. Touch down in Marrakech, settle into your hotel, and let the city’s signature mix of spice, colour, and rooftop call-to-prayer ease you into the adventure ahead. Your group comes together at a 4:00 PM welcome meeting, where your host walks you through the journey to come.
As the sun drops, the group heads out for a welcome dinner at Rooftop Dardar, a chance to clink glasses over classic Moroccan flavours like tagine, couscous, and pastilla. It’s the perfect first taste of what’s to come, both at the table and on the road.

💸 Local City/Tourist Taxes
When traveling through Morocco, many hotels charge a mandatory city or tourist tax. This fee is not included in your trip payment and must be settled directly with the hotel in local currency at check-in or check-out. Rates are typically per person, per night, and vary by season and hotel star rating. See the destination guide(s) linked in the Important Notes section for more information.
Day 2 Marrakech Medina and Gardens
Start the day in the cobalt blue calm of Jardins Majorelle, a botanical pocket of shade, exotic plants, and that famous Yves Saint Laurent palette. From there, dive straight into the energy of the Medina with a local guide who knows every alleyway, hidden riad, and clever shortcut. You’ll trace the city’s stories through the Bahia Palace and stop to admire the towering minaret of the Koutoubia Mosque.
The tour winds up in the legendary Djemaa el Fna square, leaving your afternoon wide open. Hunt down a glass of fresh orange juice, browse the souks for lanterns, leather, and ceramics, or simply post up at a rooftop café and watch the square shift gears from afternoon shoppers to evening street food spectacle.

Day 3 Marrakech to Ait Benhaddou to Dades Valley
Today the scenery turns cinematic. You’ll cross the High Atlas Mountains along the legendary Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, with mudbrick fortresses, palm-fringed oases, and switchback views unfolding through the window. The headline stop is the UNESCO-listed ksar of Ait Benhaddou, where a local leader walks you through ancient alleyways to the hilltop granary and shares why this otherworldly skyline keeps turning up on the big screen.
You then continue to the community-run Tawesna Teahouse, where you’ll take part in a hands-on cooking class, learning traditional Moroccan recipes and local culinary techniques with the women of the village.
After this immersive experience, the road carries on toward the lush, rose-tinged Dades Valley. Check into your riad, kick back by the pool, and let the view of fertile valley floors and towering rock formations do the talking as the light softens for sunset.
