Itinerary

Day 1 Welcome to Vietnam | Hanoi

Welcome to beautiful Vietnam, or as the Vietnamese say, “Chào mừng bạn đến Việt Nam!” This is a warm greeting inviting you to explore and enjoy the beauty and hospitality of this fascinating country – and we are going to do a lot of that over the next 13 days.

You’ll arrive into Hanoi, where a group airport transfer will take you to your hotel accommodation. The evening is free for us explore and capture the vibrant street and night scenes this city has to offer.

Day 2 Hanoi - Mu Cang Chai

Today we will transfer from Hanoi to Mu Cang Chai, a district in northern Vietnam celebrated for its breathtaking terraced rice fields. These terraces, meticulously carved into the hilly landscape by local ethnic communities like the H’mong and Thai, create a stunning mosaic of green and gold.

Day 3 Mu Cang Chai

Today we will explore the stunning Mu Cang Chai rice terraces, with a day full of content creation in this incredible location. We’ll hit up all the best spots, catch all the best angles, at all the right times.

Day 4 Mu Cang Chai - Hanoi

Today we will head back to Hanoi, where we will spend the next 3 nights. There is so much to see and capture here, including the iconic Train Street, the Old Quarter, Long Bien Bridge and Ngoc Son Temple to name a few. The city is also filled with opportunities to observe and photograph Vietnamese culture in its bustling streets and colourful markets.

Day 5 Quang Phu Cau Village & Mua Cave

Today we’ll head to Quang Phu Cau Village for a glimpse into traditional Vietnamese rural life, where you can interact with friendly locals, witness traditional incense handicrafts, and capture authentic village scenes. You would have no doubt seen images of the incredibly coloured incense bundles being put together by villagers on Instagram – this is your chance to capture them yourself!

After exploring the village we’ll check out the awesome Mua Cave in Ninh Binh, where a steep climb rewards you with breathtaking panoramic views of karst landscapes and lush countryside. The cave itself boasts impressive stalactites and stalagmites, providing ample opportunities for photography amidst the natural beauty of northern Vietnam.

Day 6 Halong Bay

Today’s day cruise on Halong Bay offers a magical escape from Hanoi’s hustle, as we cruide emerald waters amidst towering limestone islands, marveling at nature’s artwork. One of Vietnam’s most popular landscape photography locations, this expansive picturesque bay will give us endless opportunities for epic content.

Day 7 Hanoi to Da Nang

This morning is free for us to check out a few more of Hanoi’s photography hotspots, before we head to the airport for an afternoon flight to Da Nang for the next leg of our adventure.

Day 8 Cam Thanh Village & Hoi An Night Markets

Today starts with a visit to Cam Thanh Village, where you’ll enjoy a basket boat ride through serene waterways surrounded by coconut palms. Engage with local fishermen, learn about traditional fishing methods, and capture the village’s picturesque scenery.

In the evening, immerse yourself in Hoi An’s vibrant night markets, adorned with colorful lanterns. Explore stalls offering handicrafts and sample delicious Vietnamese street food. Capture the lively atmosphere and unique charm of Hoi An at night, making it a perfect end to a day of cultural discovery in Vietnam.

Day 9 Golden Hand Bridge

Today we will visit the iconic Golden Hand Bridge! We’ll take a scenic cable car ride up Ba Na Hills to reach the bridge, which is held up by enormous stone hands, against the backdrop of misty mountains and lush greenery. Experiment with different angles and lighting to capture this iconic landmark in its breathtaking setting. After photographing the bridge, explore the Ba Na Hills complex before heading back down the mountainside, leaving with unforgettable images of this unique architectural gem.

Day 10 My Son Sanctuary & Marble Mountains

We’ll start off today with a visit to My Son Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the ancient ruins of Hindu temples nestled in a lush valley, capturing the intricate stone carvings and serene atmosphere. Afterwards we’ll hit up the Marble Mountains, a cluster of limestone hills with caves and pagodas. Climb to the summit for panoramic views and photograph the unique rock formations and Buddhist sanctuaries. This day trip promises a blend of history, culture, and natural beauty, offering ample opportunities for captivating photography.

In the evening, we’ll jump on a flight to Ho Chi Minh City, where the adventure continues!

Day 11 Mui Ne (Phan Thiet)

We’ll have our first taste of the Vietnam coast today, with a visit to the Mui Ne (Phan Thiet) fishing village. We’ll capture the stunning sand dunes, and Fairy Stream, with its colorful sandstone formations and gentle flowing stream, ideal for striking photos. Photograph the lively fishing village and coastal scenes of Mui Ne, capturing local life by the sea.

Day 12 Ho Chi Minh City

Today we have a full day to explore Ho Chi Minh City and its diverse street photo opportunities. We’ll catch locals zipping by on motorbikes and setting up street food stalls, and explore bustling markets like Ben Thanh Market, capturing vibrant colors and lively interactions.

We’ll check out the narrow alleyways of District 4 or Chinatown (Cholon), where traditional life unfolds against a backdrop of colorful facades and historic temples. As evening approaches, we can photograph the city’s vibrant nightlife, with neon lights and bustling outdoor eateries. Ho Chi Minh City’s streets are a treasure trove for capturing the daily rhythms and vibrant energy of urban Vietnam, and this will be a fun day content creation to cap off our photographic adventure.

Day 13 Ho Chi Minh City & Departure

Sadly, today is our last day on what will have ben an absolute extravaganza of content creation in amazing Vietnam. Over breakfast, let’s share the awesome things we’ve captured and the unforgettable experiences we’ve had together. Swap socials, plan another adventure, and wish each other a fond farewell until next time!

Important Notes

ARRIVAL:
A group airport transfer included on arrival into Hanoi. This can be coordinated amongst the group after the trip is confirmed.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

TRIP CONFIRMATION:
