Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in San José
🛬 Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon landing at Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO), hop aboard the complimentary Hampton by Hilton shuttle for a short ride to your joining hotel.
Meet your friendly English-speaking guide who’ll be with you throughout your trip. After settling in, gather with your fellow travelers for a delicious welcome dinner 🍽️ at the hotel.

Day 2 San José to Arenal – Organic Farm Experience & Volcano Views
Head north to the breathtaking Arenal region via private transfer. Your first stop? Arenal Vida Campesina, a working organic farm where you’ll enjoy a hands-on sugar cane workshop and learn about sustainable agriculture – followed by a tasty farm-fresh lunch 🍽️.
In the afternoon, take in the dramatic sights of Arenal Volcano from the 1968 lava flow overlook. End your day with a relaxing dinner 🍽️ at the gorgeous Arenal Springs Resort & Spa.

Day 3 Wildlife Adventure in Caño Negro
Embark on a private boat safari through the Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge, one of Costa Rica’s most important wetlands. Keep your eyes peeled for sloths, monkeys, toucans, caimans, and more as you cruise through lush jungle waterways. Entrance fees, boat ride, and lunch 🍽️ are all included.
Return to your beautiful Arenal base to relax and soak in the hot springs.

ARRIVAL:
You will need to make sure your travel plans allow you to arrive at the meeting point by the scheduled guest meeting time. More information on this will be provided once the trip is confirmed. Your arrival airport is Juan Santamaria International Airport in San José (SJO).
DEPARTURE:
On the final day, you are free to depart at any time. Your departure airport is Juan Santamaria International Airport in San José (SJO).
MANUEL ANTONIO TRIP EXTENSION:
The Manuel Antonio NP trip extension can be booked as an add-on at check-out. Note that Jessica and Juan will not be attending this part of the trip, however you will have a local guide for any activities.
The extension requires a minimum number of guests to go ahead. If you book the extension and we do not get the required amount of guests to proceed, you will be refunded.
