Itinerary

Day 1 Welcome to Rome!

Your Italian adventure kicks off as you land in the Eternal City. After a warm welcome from your local guide and coach driver at Rome’s FCO Airport, you’ll head straight to your hotel, where you can relax and freshen up. If your room isn’t quite ready (check-in is at 3 p.m.), don’t worry! You’ll have time to stretch your legs, grab an espresso, or wander the nearby streets to start soaking up Rome’s vibrant atmosphere.

Later, settle in for a delicious three-course dinner at the hotel, complete with wine and classic Italian hospitality. It’s the perfect introduction to Rome’s famous culinary culture before a restful night in the heart of the city.

Day 2 Food & Markets in Trastevere

Fuel up with a hearty breakfast before heading out for a full-day adventure through Trastevere, one of Rome’s most charming neighborhoods. With its cobbled streets and buzzing atmosphere, you’ll dive into Rome’s food culture during a walking tour with stops for tastings at local eateries. From fresh pasta to indulgent pastries, every bite is a celebration of authentic Italian flavors.

After a delicious three-course lunch in Trastevere, the afternoon is yours to explore the Mercatino Franchising Porta Maggiore. This market is a treasure trove of unique finds, from vintage clothes to quirky souvenirs. In the late afternoon, you’ll return to the hotel, with the evening free to discover Rome’s nightlife or simply relax.

Day 3 Markets & Magic at Porta Portese

Today’s itinerary brings you to one of Rome’s hidden gems: the Porta Portese Flea Market. After breakfast, get ready to explore this sprawling market, where you can find everything from antiques and artwork to funky vintage fashion. With its lively energy and colorful stalls, shopping here is an adventure in itself.

Once you’ve worked up an appetite, enjoy a leisurely three-course lunch near the market before spending the rest of the afternoon at your own pace. Whether you dive back into the city’s history or indulge in more gelato, the day is yours! Return to the hotel before dinner for a relaxing evening at your leisure.

Day 4 Rome to Florence via Tuscan Charm

Today, it’s time to hit the road and journey through Tuscany toward Florence. But first, make a stop in either Orvieto, Siena, or Montepulciano, where medieval charm and rolling vineyards await. Whether you explore Orvieto’s stunning Duomo, Siena’s famous piazza, or sample Montepulciano’s renowned wines, you’ll get a taste of quintessential Tuscany along the way.

Once in Florence, check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Take a stroll through the city’s historic streets, grab an aperitivo, or just relax as you prepare for more Florentine fun tomorrow.

Day 5 Exploring Florence’s Heart

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel before meeting your local guide for a morning walking tour of Florence. Florence is a city of art and history, and today you’ll experience its magic firsthand, from the iconic Duomo to the bustling Piazza della Signoria.

After the tour, the rest of the day is yours to explore at your own pace. Head to Mercato Centrale, Florence’s famous indoor market, where you can sample local cheeses, meats, and artisanal products, or shop for leather goods and handmade treasures. Florence is a walker’s paradise, so every corner you turn reveals something new.

Day 6 Pasta-Making Fun in Florence

Today, the morning is free for you to dive deeper into Florence, whether that means exploring the Uffizi Gallery or wandering through the boutiques and hidden alleyways.

In the afternoon, it’s time for something extra special: a hands-on pasta-making class! Learn how to craft fresh pasta from scratch, create delicious Tuscan sauces, and whip up a traditional Italian dessert. Afterward, sit down to a four-course feast of the dishes you’ve prepared. It’s a mouthwatering way to end the day, with lots of laughs and flavors shared around the table.

Day 6 Goodbye, Florence – Hello Again, Rome

After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning in Florence before checking out of your hotel and making the scenic drive back to Rome. Upon arrival, the afternoon is free to explore and check out anything we might have missed in this beautiful city.

In the evening, your farewell dinner awaits, where you’ll toast to an unforgettable journey over a three-course meal with wine. You’ll relive the highlights of your trip, share photos, and enjoy one last magical night in the Eternal City.

Day 7 A Fond Farewell to Italy

As your Italian adventure comes to a close, enjoy a final buffet breakfast at the hotel before a coach takes us to Rome FCO Airport for those departing today. With hearts full of memories and suitcases packed with treasures from Rome’s and Florence’s markets, it’s time to head home. Safe travels!
