Get ready for 7 days packed with adventures, relaxation, and unforgettable memories on Hawaii’s stunning Oahu island with host Patrick Lyons. Our journey kicks off with a welcome dinner and fun, summer camp-style group activities to help everyone get acquainted – and you’ll be saying “mai hopohopo, hau’oli” (don’t worry, be happy) in no time.

Immerse yourself in the island’s rich culture with experiences you can’t find anywhere else: enjoy an authentic Hawaiian luau, snorkel in crystal-clear waters, have a photoshoot with Hawaii’s most in-demand photographer, and relax on sandy beaches under the warm island sun.

Stay active with daily workouts at local gyms, island yoga sessions, sunset group walks, and some of the most spectacular views you’ve ever seen. We’ll tackle Oahu’s most rewarding hikes, including the iconic Koko Head and the breathtaking Stairway to Heaven. Along the way, we’ll savor delicious local cuisine, from fresh seafood and poke to Hawaiian BBQ and acai bowls.

To add the icing on the cake of an already amazing trip, Patrick will lead daily science-based health and fitness sessions at our accommodation to equip you with new knowledge for your ongoing fitness journey. Patrick has been traveling the world for over 10 years now, during which time he’s explored 10 islands, 13 countries, 20 states, 75 cities, and counting, each experience packed with memories to last a lifetime. In particular, Patrick loves immersing himself in the authentic culture of each place he travels to, delving into the cuisine, views, hikes, and unique local activities that can’t be replicated anywhere else. Despite eating like a king with friends, Patrick prides himself on maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle even while traveling the world.

While circumnavigating the globe, working as a Product Manager at Microsoft, and continuously achieving new fitness goals personally, Patrick has also helped over 800 others achieve their fitness goals virtually through customized online fitness coaching on his program, the Lyon Shred. To date, the program has reached clients in 16 countries on 6 continents (only missing Antarctica!). He’s led in-person fitness classes in group settings for thousands more and given hundreds of lectures on the science behind various fitness topics. Furthermore, Patrick is the founder of the Online Fitness Coach Academy (OFCA) online fitness coach certification program, which teaches the science behind all things fitness, nutrition, recovery, sleep, exercise, supplementation, mobility, and more. He’s built a following of over 200,000 across his social media platforms and shares science-based content daily with friends, followers, and clients.

Patrick’s mission is to make the most of every moment by prioritizing happiness, fulfillment, and health, while helping others. From his experiences, the most special way to do that is sharing unforgettable memories with others while traveling to and exploring the greatest places on Earth. He can’t wait to do exactly that with a small group of adventure-seeking folks that will come together for the trip of a lifetime in Oahu, Hawaii.

Itinerary

Day 1 Welcome to Oahu!

“Welina mai i Hawaiʻi” – Welcome to Hawaii!

Arrive on the beautiful island of Oahu and get settled into our cozy island retreat accommodations by 1pm. To kick things off, we’ll have some icebreakers and fun, summer camp-style activities to help everyone get to know each other.

We’ll visit a local island gym for a workout followed by an exhilarating hike up Koko Head, offering stunning views. In the evening, we’ll enjoy a welcome dinner together and take a relaxing sunset walk to soak in the island’s beauty.

Today and throughout our stay, there will be a science-based health and fitness presentation to provide valuable insights for your fitness journey, along with a guided stretching session to help everyone unwind and stay limber.

Day 2 Snorkeling Adventure, Makapu'u Tide Pools

Start the day with a delicious breakfast at our retreat accommodation, and today we’ll be heading out for an exciting snorkeling adventure.

After a refreshing poke bowl lunch we’ll hit the gym, followed by a fresh post-workout local fruit snack, and a visit to the stunning Makapu’u Tide Pools.

As the day winds down, we’ll take a scenic sunset walk and join a science-based health and fitness presentation to gain valuable insights. End the evening with a guided stretching session and a fun group activity to unwind and bond with fellow travelers.

Day 3 Exclusive Photoshoot Day

After a delicious breakfast, we’ll start today with an energizing visit to the local gym. After your workout, you’ll have some relaxation time before we head to a beautiful location for an exclusive photo shoot with one of Hawaii’s top photographers, a great opportunity to capture stunning content against a classic Hawaiian island backdrop.

As evening approaches, return to your retreat accommodation for an insightful fitness and health presentation. End the day with a guided stretching session to relax and unwind, leaving you feeling refreshed and at peace.

Day 4 Manoa Falls Trail & Pink Pillbox Hike

Start with a delicious acai bowl breakfast, fueling up for an adventure-filled day. After a morning workout, enjoy a fresh local fruit snack to rejuvenate. For lunch, savor tasty fish tacos that highlight the island’s culinary delights.

Post-lunch, hike the scenic Manoa Falls trail, where you can marvel at the breathtaking waterfall. Return to your retreat accommodation for some well-deserved relaxation before heading out for a mouth-watering Hawaiian BBQ dinner.

As the day winds down, we’ll take in the island’s best sunset view at the famous Pink Pillbox. We’ll end the evening with a science-based health and fitness presentation, guided stretching session and a fun group activity, leaving you feeling refreshed and connected.

Day 5 Stairway to Heaven Hike

We’ll start today with a hearty breakfast, and grab some snacks in preparation for a day you will not ever forget!

Today we tackle the iconic Stairway to Heaven hike, renowned as the most incredible hike in all of Hawaii, offering breathtaking views and an exhilarating experience.

After conquering the hike, indulge in a delicious seafood dinner that showcases the island’s fresh culinary offerings. As the sun sets, unwind with a peaceful yoga session, followed by a night-time walk to the beach to soak in the serene atmosphere.

The evening continues with an engaging science-based health and fitness presentation, and concludes with a guided stretching session and a fun group activity.

Day 6 Diamond Head Hike & Hawaiian Luau

Start the day with a refreshing acai bowl breakfast, then head out for a pro surf lesson with Hawaiian surfing senseis!

Later in the morning we’ll tackle the Diamond Head hike, taking in the panoramic views from another one of Hawaii’s most iconic trails. Afterward, enjoy a delicious poke bowl lunch before hitting the local gym for an invigorating workout.

Spend the afternoon relaxing at your retreat accommodation, unwinding and recharging. In the evening, experience a traditional Luau followed by a heartfelt farewell dinner, celebrating the wonderful time spent together.

Conclude the night with a final walk on the island, soaking in the serene beauty. Wrap up the day with an insightful science-based health and fitness presentation, followed by a guided stretching session and a fun group activity, leaving you feeling connected and relaxed.

Day 7 Aloha to Oahu

On our final day, we’ll take in a peaceful sunrise before enjoying breakfast at our retreat accommodation, savoring the morning island bliss and reflecting on our amazing week.

Finally, we say aloha to new friends from around the world, exchanging heartfelt farewells before departing with memories to last a lifetime.

Important Notes

ARRIVAL:
Make sure your travel plans allow you to arrive in Oahu (Honolulu) and get to our accommodation by 1pm on the first day of the trip. More information on the accommodation will be provided once the trip is confirmed. Whilst it’s fine to arrive on the day the retreat starts, it’s a great idea to arrive a day or 2 early to get settled and avoid any potential issues with flight delays, and of course to relax and take in your beautiful surroundings before the action starts!

ITINERARY: Note, the exact order of events and daily itinerary/activities are subject to change.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Be sure to check entry requirements based on the passport that you will be travelling with.

TRIP CONFIRMATION:
A trip is listed as PENDING until the minimum guest numbers are reached, at which point the trip becomes CONFIRMED. Guests will be notified when a trip becomes CONFIRMED.

TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Travel insurance is required, and this will need to organised independently. There are a number of travel insurance comparison websites available. We do not recommend organising this until your trip is CONFIRMED. TIP: If you have a credit card there may be travel insurance included as part of your benefits, so check with your bank.
