Day 1 - Tuesday May 12 2026 Welcome to Madrid
Welcome to Spain! Guests will make their own way to the boutique-style hotel in central Madrid, ideally located near the Royal Palace and Gran Vía. Take some time to settle in, refresh after your travels, and get a first taste of the Spanish capital.
In the evening, the group will gather for a welcome dinner at a traditional Spanish restaurant. This is the perfect opportunity to meet your fellow travelers, enjoy delicious regional specialties, and toast the beginning of an incredible journey together.

Day 2 - Wednesday May 13 2026 Madrid – Royal Palace & Convent
After breakfast, embark on a guided exploration of Madrid’s royal and religious heritage. The day begins with a visit to the grand Royal Palace, one of Europe’s largest, where opulent halls and ornate salons reveal centuries of Bourbon and Habsburg history.
Continue to the Convent of Las Descalzas Reales, a hidden gem filled with art and relics, before strolling through Plaza de Oriente and past the Royal Theatre. In the evening, you’ll have free time to enjoy Madrid’s vibrant Gran Vía, where tapas bars, theatres, and lively streets create an electric atmosphere.

Day 3 - Thursday May 14 2026 Madrid – El Escorial
This morning, set out for an excursion beyond the city to the Royal Seat of San Lorenzo de El Escorial, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built under Philip II, the complex served as a palace, monastery, and royal mausoleum. Its austere architecture and rich collections reflect Spain’s Golden Age.
With your expert guide, explore the royal apartments, basilica, and library before taking time to stroll the gardens. Return to Madrid in the late afternoon, with the evening free to sample local cuisine or enjoy a relaxed paseo (evening stroll).

You will need to make sure your travel plans allow you to arrive at the meeting point by the scheduled guest meeting time. More information on this will be provided once the trip is confirmed. Your arrival airport is Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport (MAD).
