Kimberly Montgomery, creator of the popular YouTube channel, Pretty Over Fifty, has been a passionate life long traveler and adventurer. From living out of a carry-on suitcase for over a year, to soaking up life in Tuscany on a 2 month retreat, to appreciating the ancient cultures in Asia, Kimberly has never slowed down in her love for experiencing the world. Traveling to Europe, Japan, South America and through out the United States, she’s found that life can be as exciting at 68 as it was at 22. Now Kimberly is sharing her love for the new and exciting with her viewers and friends of her channel. Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Cancún & Transfer to Bacalar
Arrive at Cancún International Airport (CUN) and meet your group transfer. We’ll head directly to the serene town of Bacalar, known for its stunning multi-hued lagoon. The journey takes you through lush landscapes and small towns, offering a first glimpse into the beauty of the Yucatán Peninsula.
After checking into your hotel, you’ll have the evening free to relax and settle in. Tonight, enjoy a welcome dinner with the group, the perfect chance to connect with fellow travelers and ease into the rhythm of the trip.

Day 2 Bacalar Lagoon Exploration
Wake up to the tranquility of Bacalar and prepare for a day out on the water. This morning, we’ll embark on a boat tour of the Laguna De Los Siete Colores, exploring its famous Pirates’ Channel and several cenotes, including Cenote Negro and Cenote Cocalitos. Your guide will share insights into the lagoon’s unique ecosystem and ancient stromatolites.
The afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure. You might paddleboard across the clear waters, kayak through hidden corners of the lagoon, or simply relax by the shore soaking in the natural beauty.

Day 3 Cenote Hopping & Relaxation
Today is dedicated to discovering some of the region’s most beautiful cenotes. You’ll visit a selection of these natural sinkholes, swimming and snorkeling in crystal-clear waters surrounded by jungle. Each cenote has its own character, from dramatic open pools to shaded caverns.
In the afternoon, return to Bacalar and enjoy time to unwind. Relax at your hotel, wander through town, or find a local café to soak up the laid-back atmosphere. It’s the perfect balance of adventure and leisure.

ARRIVAL & TRIP COMMENCEMENT:
For most guests, the trip will commence from the Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Cancun Airport on Sunday, 15 February 2026. Please meet in the hotel lobby at 11:45 am for departure on Sunday, 15 February 2026. Your host, Kimberly, will be in touch directly should there be any updates or changes to this timing.
For guests flying into Cancun on Sunday, 15 February 2026, you will be collected directly from Cancun International Airport (CUN) by our local operator. The driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall, holding a sign that reads:
