After the huge success of our sold-out 2024 Paris adventure, we are thrilled to return with a brand-new program that’s even more immersive and inspiring. Laura Caldwell, the creative force behind Left Coast Revivals, an online vintage shop, also hosts a captivating YouTube channel where she shares her expertise in sourcing and decorating with vintage and antique finds. Through her channel, Laura invites viewers to join her on exclusive Left Coast Travel Club trips, exploring some of the world’s oldest and largest flea markets in search of unique, one-of-a-kind treasures. Alongside her husband Jesse, Laura has hosted group trips in Italy, Japan, England, France, Belgium, Germany, and Austria, as well as in her home state of Oregon in the USA. There are plenty more trips on the horizon as well including Croatia, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Scotland. Join Laura and discover the charm of vintage treasures from around the globe.

Jesse Caldwell

Jesse Caldwell has teamed up with his wife, Laura, on her popular YouTube channel, where they delve into the world of thrifting for unique vintage finds. As a co-host of the Left Coast Travel Club, Jesse leads group trips to some of the world’s most historic and expansive flea markets, hunting for one-of-a-kind treasures. Together with Laura, he has guided travelers through Italy, England, Japan, Paris, Germany and Austria and they’re gearing up for even more exciting new adventures in the future. Jesse combines logistical skills with an infectious sense of humor, making every group trip both well-organized and fun!

Day 1 Bienvenue à Paris!

Your adventure begins at your hotel, where you’ll check in and have time to relax and refresh after your journey. Take a moment to unwind and soak in the excitement of being in “The City of Light.”

In the evening, we’ll gather together for a delicious welcome dinner at a local Parisian restaurant. It’s the perfect chance to get to know your fellow travellers and celebrate the start of your journey. Bon appétit!

Day 2 Exploring Versailles

Start your morning with a delicious buffet breakfast at the hotel, the perfect fuel for a day of discovery. Afterward, our expert local guide will lead us on an unforgettable journey to Versailles, one of France’s most iconic landmarks.

Spend the day exploring the magnificent Palace of Versailles, once home to the French monarchy, and wander through its extravagant Hall of Mirrors, royal apartments, and beautifully manicured gardens. With history, architecture, and artistry all around you, it’s a truly immersive step back into France’s regal past. After returning to Paris, enjoy a relaxed evening at your own pace to soak up the city’s charm.

Day 3 Vintage Markets at Puces Saint Ouen

Begin your day with a delightful buffet breakfast at the hotel before setting out for one of the world’s most famous flea markets, the Marché aux Puces de Saint-Ouen. Known as a paradise for collectors and dreamers alike, this sprawling market is packed with charm, history, and hidden treasures.

Wander through winding alleyways lined with stalls offering everything from antique furniture and vintage fashion to rare artworks and quirky collectibles. Along the way, you’ll meet friendly vendors eager to share the stories behind their pieces. Laura will be on hand to guide you through the maze of shops and share her expert tips for spotting special finds and haggling like a local. Whether you’re a seasoned vintage hunter or simply soaking up the atmosphere, this market visit promises a day of discovery, fun, and inspiration.

In the afternoon, you’ll have the chance to explore pop-up Vide Greniers – the French equivalent of neighborhood garage sales. These lively events are sprinkled across Paris and offer everything from secondhand books and retro clothing to quirky keepsakes at bargain prices. It’s a true local experience and a treasure hunt in its own right. The evening is then free to enjoy Paris at your own pace – perhaps with a sunset stroll along the Seine, a cozy bistro dinner, or simply soaking up the city lights.

Day 4 Vintage Markets at Puces de Vanves and Le Marais

After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll join Laura, Jesse, and our local guide for a visit to the Marché aux Puces de Vanves. Smaller and more relaxed than Saint-Ouen, this open-air market has over 350 vendors and is a favorite for its approachable atmosphere and eclectic mix of antiques, vintage finds, and collectibles.

By midday, we’ll continue to the elegant Marais district for a delicious three-course lunch in a local restaurant. The afternoon will be spent with Laura and Jesse exploring the Marais’ vintage shops, chic boutiques, and lively markets, with time to enjoy any shopping stops that catch your eye. It’s likely we’ll enjoy some local Vide Grenier garage sale style shopping again today, and the evening is once again free for you to explore Paris at your leisure.

Day 5 Free Day in Paris

Today is yours to explore the magic of the City of Light at your own pace. With a Metro card in hand, you’ll have easy access to Paris’ excellent public transport, making it simple to reach all corners of the city. Whether you choose to wander through charming neighborhoods, sit at a sidewalk café and people-watch, or tick off your must-see landmarks, the day is yours to design.

You might stroll along the Seine, browse the boutiques of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, or climb to Montmartre for sweeping views from the Sacré-Cœur. Art lovers can immerse themselves in the world-class collections of the Louvre or Musée d’Orsay, while foodies may prefer to sample fresh pastries, cheeses, and wine from local markets. Paris is full of hidden gems, so follow your curiosity and see where the day takes you.

Note: On Mondays, most museums and galleries in Paris are closed, with the exception of the Louvre, which remains open.

Day 6 Markets, Museums & A Sparkling Farewell

On your final full day in Paris, we’ll begin with a visit to the lively Marché d’Aligre, a favorite among locals. This colorful market blends the charm of a village square with stalls overflowing with fresh flowers, seasonal produce, antiques, and vintage treasures. It’s the perfect spot to pick up last-minute finds, soak in the vibrant atmosphere, and capture a few more Parisian memories before heading home.

The afternoon is yours to enjoy as you wish – perhaps returning to a favorite neighborhood, exploring a museum you’ve yet to see, or simply strolling along the boulevards with a croissant in hand. Paris is a city that rewards wandering, and this is your last chance to let it surprise you.

In the evening, we’ll gather for a very special farewell dinner – a riverboat cruise along the Seine. As you savor a gourmet meal paired with fine wine, the city’s most iconic landmarks will glide by in a dazzling display. From the glowing arches of Notre-Dame to the sparkling Eiffel Tower, it’s an unforgettable Parisian experience and the perfect way to toast the end of your journey.
