Itinerary

Day 1 Bula! Welcome to the Yasawa Islands

Our adventure begins with a scenic ferry ride from Denarau, gliding across the pristine waters of the South Pacific towards our idyllic island. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by the welcoming staff and the serene atmosphere of this eco-friendly resort, nestled between white sandy beaches and coral-rich waters. The resort itself is a laid-back haven, featuring rustic yet comfortable beachfront bures, open-air dining areas, and hammocks strung between palm trees, perfect for unwinding in paradise.

After settling in, your afternoon adventure takes you into the vibrant waters surrounding the island, known for some of the best snorkelling in Fiji. You’ll dive into the crystal-clear sea, where you’ll swim alongside tropical fish, vibrant coral reefs, and possibly even manta rays. The underwater world teems with life, offering an unforgettable glimpse into the colourful marine ecosystem.

As the day winds down, you’ll return to the resort for a relaxed evening. Enjoy a delicious dinner featuring fresh, local ingredients while watching the sun dip below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the island.

Included Meals: Lunch, Dinner

Day 2 Manta / Reef Snorkel, Coral Planting

On day 2, you’ll wake up to the gentle sound of waves and the soft glow of the morning sun reflecting off the ocean. After a leisurely breakfast with fresh tropical fruits and local delicacies, the day’s adventure begins.
You’ll either embark on an exhilarating snorkel in search of the island’s iconic and majestic manta rays, or explore the vibrant coral reefs surrounding the island. If the manta rays are present, you’ll glide alongside these gentle giants in their natural habitat, a surreal experience that’s both humbling and unforgettable. If not, the reef snorkel will still dazzle with its colourful array of marine life – tropical fish darting through coral gardens, bright sea anemones, and maybe even a shy sea turtle or two.

In the afternoon, the focus shifts to marine conservation with a visit to the island’s Marine Centre. Here, you’ll learn about the important work being done to protect the local ecosystem, including coral restoration efforts. Under the guidance of marine biologists, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in coral planting, directly contributing to the preservation of the vibrant underwater world. This hands-on experience connects you deeply to the island’s environment, offering a unique sense of purpose amidst the stunning surroundings.

Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 3 Sunrise Hike, Manta / Reef Snorkel

Depending on the weather, we may be up early to set off on a sunrise hike. The panoramic views from the viewpoint are nothing short of breathtaking – the vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean shimmering below and the islands dotting the horizon bathed in a golden glow. It’s a peaceful and invigorating start, with the quiet stillness of nature all around you, making the hike as rewarding for the soul as it is for the body. This is also something we can do at sunset!

After breakfast, the day’s aquatic adventure awaits. Depending on which activity the group experienced the previous day, you’ll either embark on a thrilling snorkel with the graceful manta rays or dive into the vibrant coral reefs once more.

The afternoon is yours to relax and reflect, perhaps lounging by the beach or the resort’s open-air lounge, taking in the sunset.

Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 4 Our Next Island Paradise

This morning we’ll hop on a ferry transfer to our next island paradise location There is plenty to take in, with scenic views of the Yasawa Islands dotted amongst the stunning azure sea. Upon arrival, you’re greeted by the resort’s striking natural beauty—pristine beaches, dramatic volcanic rock formations, and lush greenery all framed by the crystal-clear ocean.

Like the previous resort, the one offers an inviting blend of barefoot luxury and rustic charm, with cosy bures nestled along the shoreline and an atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at ease.

After settling in and enjoying a leisurely lunch, the afternoon brings the opportunity for another snorkelling adventure. The waters around her are renowned for their diverse marine life and vibrant coral reefs. You’ll see an array of tropical fish, intricate coral gardens, and hopefully some turtles as well.

Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 5 Awakening Shark Dive

Today we have a thrilling adventure with the Awakening Shark Dive, one of the most exhilarating experiences on offer. After a light breakfast, you’ll gear up for this unforgettable dive that takes you up close and personal with the majestic sharks that call the waters of nearby Yakawe Reef home.

For many, this will be a huge highlight of your trip! You don’t need to be scuba certified to participate, and we will have professional dive guides to ensure your safety. You will have the chance to share the water with a range of shark species, at a depth of 10m.

After the dive, the afternoon is yours to relax and reflect on the morning’s adventure. Lounge on the pristine beaches, cool off with a swim in the turquoise waters, or share stories of your shark encounter with fellow travellers.

Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 6 Shark Snorkel, Island Life

On day 6, after breakfast we have a short 20-minute boat ride to Moia Reef, home to a population of curious and friendly reef sharks. Under the guidance of the experienced dive team, you’ll enjoy a safe and exhilarating snorkel experience, encountering these fascinating creatures up close as they swim in their natural habitat.

In the afternoon, we can choose our own adventure depending on the conditions – explore the local reefs some more, or maybe experience some of the local culture of the island.

Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 7 Fond Farewell

Sadly today is our final day. We’ll enjoy breakfast together and relive our magical week before boarding a ferry back to Denarau.

The resort crew will be just as sad to see you go as you will be to be leaving, but remember – instead of a formal goodbye, “sota tale” means “see you later’ because we have no doubt you’ll be counting the days before you return to beautiful Fiji!

After hopping off the ferry, a transfer will be arranged for the next part of your journey, whether that is going to a hotel or to the airport.
