Sarah Strauss

Hello everyone!! My name is Sarah Strauss, I am a Fitness, nutrition and wellness coach, and my biggest passion in life is helping women fall in love with their fitness journey. To feel confident reaching their goals, sustaining their progress, and having fun along the way! One of my favorite parts of Online Coaching is being able to support incredible women on their fitness journey and I’m so excited to be able to do that in person again as well!

I started off as an in person trainer, and having an in person community is something that I greatly miss with online training! I’m very excited to have a life changing experience with all of you and Bali staying active, sweating it out in the sunshine, making lifelong memories, and having a blast in one of my favorite countries!

My biggest passion alongside fitness and wellness is travel and Bali is one of my favorite places that I have been to. I know there are so many women who are very excited to go to Bali as well, but maybe have been hesitant for solo travel, so this is a perfect opportunity to explore Indonesia, with all of the most incredible experiences and activities with a group of like-minded women!

I am an online health, fitness, and mindset coach who brings together the two worlds of physical fitness and spiritual energetics, to help empower women around the world!

Too many of us live in a constant world of go-go-go, always focused on pushing the needle a little further and #grinding, often at the expense of our own mental health. A large theme with my work is helping women find the balance between excelling in all areas of their life, as well as adequately resting — physically AND mentally!

Traveling is one of my favorite ways to slow. the. heck. down. Taking time out of our normal space and routines allows more room for fun and play — which is exactly what we’re bringing to this retreat! Earth is a beautiful playground and we want to explore as much of this world as possible, while bringing together rock solid communities of women to step into our highest selves!

Sarah and I have been best friends for years and share a lot of similar passions, and we are so excited to create an experience for you that you’ll remember for the rest of your life!

 

Itinerary

Day 1 Welcome to Paradise!

Melissa & Sarah’s Bali Fitness Retreat kicks off with a laid-back poolside meet and greet at the stunning Hotel Komune & Beach Club Bali in the afternoon. Check in, then it’s time to relax, soak up the tropical vibes, and get to know your fellow adventurers.

As the sun starts to set, unwind with a blissful sunset yoga session, letting the golden sky and ocean breeze melt away any travel fatigue. Then, it’s time for a delicious chef-prepared dinner with the group, where fresh local flavors and great conversation set the tone for an incredible week ahead!

Day 2 Snorkeling Adventure

Day 2 of the retreat starts with an energizing morning workout, where you’ll break a sweat with the group while surrounded by Bali’s breathtaking beauty. Afterward, cool off in a refreshing ice bath, the perfect way to recharge and reset. Once you’re feeling revitalized, gather with everyone for a delicious and healthy breakfast, fueling up for the day ahead.

In the afternoon, get ready for an exciting snorkeling tour to Padang Bai, where you’ll explore vibrant coral reefs and swim with Bali’s underwater life. After the adventure, you’ll have time to relax and soak in the peaceful surroundings before reuniting with the group for a 6:30 dinner, where great food and conversation round out an unforgettable day.

Day 3 Ubud Rice Terraces, Swings & Waterfalls

Day 3 kicks off with a delicious group breakfast, before heading out on a full-day adventure to Ubud. We’ll wander through the stunning rice terraces, take in the breathtaking views, and enjoy the thrill of Bali’s famous jungle swings. You’ll also visit a picturesque waterfall or two, perfect for cooling off from the jungle heat, and capturing unforgettable moments while soaking in the natural beauty.

As the day winds down, you’ll return to the Komune beach restaurant just in time to watch the sun set over the ocean. With the sound of waves in the background, you’ll enjoy a mouth-watering dinner with the group.

Day 4 Morning Workout, Chill Day

Today we will begin with a high-energy group workout at the gym, where you’ll sweat it out together while getting pumped for another day in paradise. After the workout, we’ll gather for a nourishing breakfast to refuel and share some laughs before diving into the day’s fun.

And then our day is all about chilling and enjoying the beach vibes. Grab a paddle board, or just unwind with a pool or beach day, soaking up the sun and enjoying some well-deserved relaxation. As the sun begins to set, you’ll come together for a laid-back dinner, watching the colors fade into the horizon and wrapping up the day in pure Bali bliss.

Day 5 Traditional Balinese Craft Workshop, Night Safari

Day 5 starts with a morning workout in the gym, where we’ll all get our energy flowing together. After breaking a sweat, we’ll dive into an invigorating ice bath, cooling down and feeling completely refreshed. Once we’ve recovered, we’ll enjoy a hearty group breakfast, and get ready to explore our creative sides!

Next, we’ll head to a traditional ceramic and silver jewelry making class, where you’ll watch incredibly skilled Balinese craftsmen and craftswomen at work, and then create your own unique pieces to take home as special mementos of this Bali adventure.

The afternoon is all about relaxing and chilling, giving us time to unwind by the pool or beach. In the evening, we’ll come together for a delicious group dinner before heading out for an exciting Night Safari at Bali Zoo Park, where we’ll encounter exotic animals under the magical glow of the night sky.

Day 6 Yoga & Fond Farewell

Our last day begins with a peaceful morning yoga class, where we’ll stretch, breathe, and reflect on the incredible week we’ve shared. The soothing energy of Bali will help us find balance and serenity as we move through our final practice together.

After yoga, we’ll gather one last time for a delicious group breakfast, sharing stories and laughter as we savor these last moments. It’s a heartfelt farewell as we exchange hugs and well wishes, leaving with new friendships, unforgettable memories, and the promise of more adventures to come.

Please note that this is a women’s only trip.

ARRIVAL:
You will need to fly in to Bali (I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport – Denpasar) and arrive at our accommodation by mid-afternoon on day 1 of the trip. Once the trip has been confirmed, a group chat will be set up where guests can discuss and coordinate flights and airport transfers.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Be sure to check entry requirements based on the passport that you will be travelling with.

TRIP CONFIRMATION:
A trip is listed as PENDING until the minimum guest numbers are reached, at which point the trip becomes CONFIRMED. Guests will be notified when a trip becomes CONFIRMED.

TRAVEL INSURANCE:
