Frequently Asked Questions
How do I receive my cashback?
You can choose to receive your cashback as a direct bank transfer, as credit towards VIP Travel Club membership, as credit towards a VIP Travel Club booking, or a combination of these. We’ll confirm your preference before processing.
What currency is cashback paid in?
Cashback will be paid in your local currency, if available, otherwise USD.
When will I receive my cashback?
Within 2 weeks of your stay being completed.
How long do I have to forward my booking confirmation?
We recommend sending your booking confirmation to tom@bestintravelgroup.com as soon as you have made your booking, however we require it at least 7 days before your stay begins. Bookings submitted closer to the stay date may not be eligible.
Is there a deadline for this promotion?
Yes – your booking must be made before June 30th 2026. Note that the stay can be for any time.
What if I cancel or modify my booking?
Cashback is only paid on bookings that are completed (i.e. you actually stayed). If you cancel, you won’t receive cashback. If you modify your booking, the final cashback amount will be based on the commission we ultimately receive.
Are all properties and bookings eligible?
Most are, but some properties, rates, or booking types (e.g. certain non-commissionable rates) aren’t eligible. If your booking falls outside what we can pay cashback on, we’ll let you know when you forward your confirmation.
Do I need to be a VIP Travel Club member?
No – your first booking is free to try without a membership. After that, ongoing cashback is a VIP Travel Club benefit.
Can I use this on bookings I’ve already made?
Only if you booked through our affiliate link. If you booked directly with Booking.com or Expedia without going through our link, we have no way to track or verify the booking, so it isn’t eligible.
Why are the cashback rates different between Booking.com and Expedia?
The rates reflect the commission each platform pays us, which we pass on to you.
What counts as “eligible”?
Eligibility depends on the property and rate type. Most standard hotel bookings qualify. Non-commissionable rates, certain package deals, and some property types may not. When in doubt, forward us your confirmation and we’ll check.
Can I combine this with other discounts or loyalty programs?
Yes – you book directly with Booking.com or Expedia as normal, so you can still use their loyalty programs (Genius, Expedia Rewards, etc.) and any promo codes they offer. The cashback is on top of that.
