Today, you’ll embark on a tour around Ubud led by our knowledgeable guide and driver. Our first stop is the holy spring water temple in Tampak Siring, where for thousands of years, Balinese people have revered the healing and purifying qualities of its waters. As you explore the temple grounds with your guide, you’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the sacred pools, learning the traditional Balinese prayers for health and wellbeing. Next, we’ll visit the Gunung Kawi temple complex, a fascinating archaeological site featuring ancient shrine reliefs intricately carved into the rock face. The journey to the temple involves descending 300 steps through lush paddy terraces and verdant valleys, offering a truly memorable experience.

Following a delightful lunch at a picturesque restaurant, our adventure continues to Kanto Lampo Waterfall. Here, you’ll descend the stairs to encounter the mesmerizing cascades of water. Whether you choose to indulge in a refreshing natural shower or capture stunning photographs of the waterfall, this stop promises to be a highlight of the day.

Kick off your journey with an engaging workshop hosted at a cozy coffee shop nestled in Ubud. Join us for an immersive coffee brewing workshop where you’ll discover the art of being a home barista! Led by an expert, you’ll receive hands-on guidance and practical tips to elevate your coffee-making prowess to new heights.

We’ll then explore the serene sanctuary of the Ubud Monkey Forest, home to approximately 700 Grey Macaques. Meander along paved pathways winding through the lush nutmeg forest, shaded by dense foliage, and encounter ancient temples nestled amidst the greenery. It’s a tranquil retreat where you can connect with nature and observe these playful primates in their natural habitat, concluding our journey with unforgettable memories of Ubud’s natural wonders.

Following breakfast, we’ll journey towards Rumah Desa for a captivating day in the authentic Balinese Village of Tabanan. Our first stop will be the traditional market, where you’ll immerse yourself in the vibrant colors and aromas of exotic fruits and spices. If timing permits (prior to school holidays), we’ll also visit a local school nearby, offering insights into the community’s educational system.

Returning to Rumah Desa, our local guide will lead us through the intricacies of Balinese house compounds, illustrating how traditions and beliefs shape the architectural landscape. Wander deeper into the complex, traversing lush gardens, until you reach an authentic Balinese kitchen. Here, you’ll engage in a hands-on cooking experience, learning essential Balinese culinary techniques while your guide introduces the benefits of exotic spices firsthand.

After a delectable lunch, we’ll venture through plantations and cross a picturesque wooden bridge over the river, arriving at stunning rice fields. Here, you’ll gain firsthand knowledge of irrigation methods, farming practices, and even have the opportunity to climb a coconut tree. Dive into the agricultural experience by joining local farmers in planting paddies and plowing fields alongside their trusty cows. As the day concludes, we’ll return to Ubud for a well-deserved overnight stay, brimming with newfound insights into Balinese culture and rural life.

Time to go Bali Island hopping! We’ll head to beautiful Nusa Penida, the largest among the three Nusa Islands nestled off the coast of mainland Bali.

Our exploration today centers on the eastern side of Nusa Penida, starting with the breathtaking Atuh Beach. Accessible via a 10-15 minute hike down a series of paved stairs, this secluded cove boasts cliff views and pristine white sands caressed by turquoise waters. Though some sections feature steep steps, rest assured our guide will ensure periodic breaks to soak in the majestic surroundings.

Next, we’ll venture to Diamond Beach for the awe-inspiring ‘Thousand Islands Viewpoint’. Following a descent down an uneven staircase (not recommended for those with mobility issues), you’ll encounter various viewpoints offering stunning vistas. If you like, you can opt to capture iconic photos at the famed “Rumah Pohon”, a treehouse perched on the cliffs for a small charge – but there are beautiful views everywhere!

Embark on an exhilarating snorkeling expedition in Nusa Penida, where you’ll have a chance to encounter majestic manta rays in their natural habitat. Glide through the crystalline waters, guided by expert instructors to prime snorkelling spots where these graceful giants often frequent.

We’ll also visit the island’s best snorkelling spots, where you can immerse yourself in a world of kaleidoscopic coral reefs, swaying sea fans, schools of tropical fish, and other marine life including sea turtles.

Today’s adventure takes us to the southern part of this enchanting island, beginning with a visit to Banah Cliff for an awe-inspiring viewpoint experience. At Banah Cliff, there are two spots to explore; one accessible without additional steps, while the other requires a trek along steep and narrow steps, offering panoramic vistas ideal for capturing memorable photographs.

Continuing our journey, we’ll venture to Tembeling Beach, renowned for its natural pool and surrounding forest. After being dropped off at a designated car park, we’ll embark on a thrilling 15-minute bike ride with a local driver through narrow, steep, and rocky terrain. Following this exhilarating ride, a brief 10-12 minute walk down the stairs leads us through the lush Tembeling Forest to the crystal-clear natural pool. After enjoying a refreshing dip and capturing photos in this exotic setting, we’ll proceed to the beach for mesmerizing panoramic views, though swimming is not permitted due to the abundance of rocks and corals.

Our next stop is the hidden Peguyangan Spring, home to a sacred temple and a site for Hindu purification rituals. A scenic 20-25 minute hike down the cliffside staircase brings us to the spring, where we can take a moment to immerse ourselves in the cascading pool before embarking on the return journey, ascending the same stairs over 40-45 minutes. Before concluding our excursion and returning to the resort, we’ll indulge in a delicious lunch at a preferred restaurant, savoring the flavors of Bali’s cuisine amidst the island’s breathtaking landscapes.

After enjoying a leisurely breakfast, the morning offers you free time to relax and explore at your own pace. Around noon, it’s time to bid farewell to the island paradise of Nusa Penida and return to Bali’s mainland by boat. You can check in and settle in comfortably before embarking on an exciting street food tour with your group.

Kick off the evening by heading to the beach and refreshing yourself with a young coconut or a chilled bottle of Bintang beer. As you meet your guide, begin your journey at the Beachwalk shopping center, where you’ll rendezvous with your driver. Hop on the back of his motorbike and zoom through Kuta, indulging in a tantalizing array of Indonesian delicacies. Sink your teeth into savory tempe penyet paired with an invigorating fresh fruit juice at Juice Corner, then venture to Bemo Corner for a taste of traditional local fare such as soto ayam or nasi jingo, wrapped in banana leaves. Conclude your culinary escapade at Patung Kuda, a famous statue near Bali Airport and a popular local hangout, where your last meal awaits.

Finish off your day with a visit to the poignant and informative Ground Zero bombing memorial site, reflecting on the significance of the day’s experiences amidst the bustling streets of Bali.
