Hi, I’m Katie! I’m a mom of three amazing adult kids, a Registered Nurse for 20 years, and a solo travel enthusiast turned group trip host and content creator.
After spending years working overtime in the ER and pouring everything into my family, I found myself burned out and craving more than just waiting for the next escape. So I made a bold decision: to stop living for vacations — and start building a life I didn’t want to escape from. I’ve been traveling solo off and on since I was 18, but in 2018, I planned my first group trip to Italy — and discovered a gift for creating meaningful, joy-filled itineraries that connect people and spark confidence.
Three years ago, I closed the chapter on a 23-year marriage, and since then, I’ve completely redefined my life on my terms. These days, I split my time between solo adventures and exploring the world with my fiancé — showing other midlife women (and men) that it’s never too late to chase your dreams, take that trip, and rediscover yourself along the way.

Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Naples
Benvenuti a Napoli!
Arrive in Naples and make your way to the hotel to check in. Depending on your arrival time, you may want to begin exploring this lively city known for its street life, baroque architecture, and deep culinary roots. In the evening, meet your group for a welcome dinner at the hotel — a great chance to get to know fellow travellers and hear more about the exciting days ahead.

Day 2 Naples City Tour & Underground
After breakfast, head into the heart of Naples with a local guide. Explore the city’s historic center on foot, including highlights such as the Gesù Nuovo Church and the bustling Spaccanapoli thoroughfare. After free time for lunch, venture beneath the city for a fascinating tour of Underground Naples — a labyrinth of tunnels and ancient ruins beneath the streets. Return to the hotel by private bus with your evening free.

Day 3 Pompeii, Vesuvius Vineyard & Tasting

Afterward, visit the Domus Cameo workshop for a short cultural stop before heading to a vineyard on the slopes of Vesuvius. Enjoy a guided vineyard tour, sample Lacryma Christi wines, and indulge in a traditional multi-course lunch with views of the volcano. Return to Naples in the late afternoon.
